Hello Silencers,

I was pretty sure to have read in Joan Retallack’s Musicage a conversation where John Cage says that he should attend  rehearsals of But what about the noise of crumpling paper […] by the Percussions de Strasbourg as they were going to premiere it in 1986.
I also was pretty sure that, in the same book, there was a remark by John Cage saying something like « he played from where he is » in relation to a performance by a pianist from the classical field who obviously was not prepared to be seized by Cage’s music spirit.

I can’t find these in the book. Did I dream it ? The percussion piece is not mentioned in the index, and I couldn't find it within the pages. 

Do you remember where it could be ?
