Maybe my english is not correct. Is « John Cage says that he should have attended rehearsals of But what about the noise of crumpling paper […] by the Percussions de Strasbourg as they were going to premiere it in 1986 » more correct ? I remember to have read that he was invited for at least one rehearsal but declined and regretted it as the performance was not at all satisfying… Thank you Rob to confirm the anecdote about the pianist.
