I understand that, Kristie, but the effect of that could be to discipline a victim/survivor if she violates the no-contact order. Have you found a way around that problematic outcome?

At Guilford, a no- contact order is mutual and rather than something one student puts into place against another, it is the ColleCollege deciding that two parties should avoid each other equally. If changes in classes or residence needs to be made, we put the burden on the responding student.
