At Guilford, a no- contact order is mutual and rather than something one student puts into place against another, it is the ColleCollege deciding that two parties should avoid each other equally. If changes in classes or residence needs to be made, we put the burden on the responding student.

I wonder if your institutions issue no contact directives after reports of sexual assault or domestic violence.  If they do are those orders mutual?  I have concerns about no contact orders being issued against students/ survivors who have not been accused of any policy violation.  Your thoughts?
