Hi everyone,

We also use Maxient.  You can view our online reporting form at http://tulane.edu/concerns.  We use Maxient for a variety of reporting purposes and a lot of people have access to the database, so we created an access restriction so that Title IX cases are only routed to select people and only a small group of people can view those cases.  I’ve found the analytics/report feature very helpful.  Happy to share more feedback about my experience if anyone wants to email me directly.

Best,

Julia

We use Maxient to enter and track reports at Dickinson. There are two ways to enter a report: through an online Title IX report form (that all faculty and staff can access) and by entering a new case from the home page of the database (which has a more limited set of users). I am still learning the reporting and analysis features of Maxient. I would be interested in hearing about what other people are using.

Thanks!

Donna

Colleagues:

I would appreciate your feedback on electronic databases/case management systems that you use for intake and tracking of equity, non-discrimination and/or sexual violence reports for matters involving students, faculty, and/or staff.

I am particularly interested in whether any of you have found one tool that you recommend that has all of the following features:

(1) online intake (supports an online portal where reports of any type of discrimination/violence may be made);

(2) case file management (houses all documents and data about each particular incident of discrimination and calculates deadlines);

(3) report development (filters, sorts, and manipulates case management data so that users can identify trends and patterns);

(4) central clearinghouse for data: (a) automatically transfers data from online intake portal to the case management platform and (b) automatically transfers people data [such as demographics and contact information from applications such as PeopleSoft] to the case management platform; and

(5) security (safely maintains data to ensure confidentiality and privacy).

Thank you.
