In my experience the person pushing for the use of the term "regretted sex"
is the same dean of students or other administrator who believes women
fabricate rape allegations because they are angry that some guy doesn't like
them and that violence between male students and their female partners,
friends or exs isn't dangerous. In other words, people who don't get it and
adhere to lots of rape myths.
It is extremely offensive.
