We also offer taxi vouchers, students can sign out a vehicle (if they are pre-cleared by the insurance company- which a fair number of our students are), or can be driven by our campus police officers.  We are moving toward a system where students can charge a zip car to our department for this purpose and also will reimburse for ride share aps.

Hello,

 

At Babson College we also have public safety escorts available, in both unmarked and marked vehicles. 

 

We also connected our business account to car sharing apps, particularly for our hotline advocates, to offer a cost-free transportation option for students. We offer this for SANE and other related appointments (infectious disease, pharmacy, etc...). This is available 24/7/365.

Hello and Happy New Year!

 

I'm reaching out to see if any of you can provide any examples of your campuses services related to transporting students during the evenings and weekends to the hospital to receive a SAFE exam. My campus is about 30 minutes away from the nearest hospital with a SAFE program and we currently provide taxi vouchers to students who do not have their own car or can secure transportation through a friend or family member but are looking into what other options we may be able to provide. It would be most helpful if any of you have other solutions or suggestions we may be able to adapt for our campus.
