Hi all,

We’ve  had peer advocates for the past two years, and they have been incredibly successful for the learning outcomes and goals that we established for the program. We recently completed a mixed methods assessment of the program, and I’d be happy to share if you contact me.

At Emory, we do not (currently) have advocates as a part of our response protocol but instead train students throughout campus, especially student leaders, to ensure that survivors will be surrounded by people who know what to say, what not to say, and how to help sexual assault survivors.

If you’re at all interested in our curriculum, measures of success, etc., I would be happy to share.

My best,

LB

Subject: peer advocates

Greetings,

I'm working with a couple of campuses who would like to utilize peer advocates.  I would love to connect with some of you who have this in place on your campus. Or, if you had this available in the past and it didn't work out, I would like to hear from you as well.

Does anyone have policies/protocols in place to identify this response process? Are you willing to share?

Please email me if you're willing to discuss.  Thanks so much!
