Hi Rebecca,

Great topic. Personally, I like the idea of focusing on what TO do, rather
than what not to do, which can sometimes normalize the unhealthy behaviors.
It seems like the kind of topic that is perfect for a student-driven project.
I.e. students thinking of creative ways to message to other students about
what they would define as "good breakup behaviors" -- realistic things that
they or their friends have done in the midst of a breakup that they are glad
about looking back. Or perhaps things they wished they had done. (And I think
we can all think of examples in the latter category!) :-)

I hope you'll keep us posted on what develops.

Best,
Linda

Subject: healthy and unhealthy breakups

Hi all,
Reaching out for some help based on a request I received from one of our
college’s counselors at my prevention committee meeting this morning. She
said she is receiving more clients who are dealing with “unhealthy breakups”.
The example she gave was the posting of naked pictures of an ex-partner on
social media sites.

Has anyone addressed these kinds of behaviors from the perspective of
healthy/unhealthy breakups?
Anyone interested in collaborating on this topic?
