Hi John, I worked with a videographer to create a 7 1/2 minute video in Spring 2012 about being an active bystander which we have used this year in our four-hour skills training, One Act. It’s been well-received by students
this year. The “Bystander Experiment” video can be viewed at
http://www.youtube.com/oneactcarolina. It was funded by a grant from Student Government’s Safety and Security Committee (student fees).
We had so much great footage which we weren’t able to include in this video that I have been continuing to work with the same videographer to create additional videos for the web, both to promote the program
and educate folks who are unable to make it to the training. He is currently finishing a 2-3 minute video about how to recognize warning signs leading up to sexual assault; I hope it will be done in the next week or two so it can be used in orientation.
It will be uploaded to the same site when it is done. More info about One Act bystander skills training and the student organization can be found at campushealth.unc.edu/oneact.
Thanks! Kelli Kelli Raker, MA Check out

Hi all, My colleagues and I are working on putting together a short (5 minute) video that will be included in new and transfer student orientation. We are going to try and cover sexual assault 101, consent, and how to support a survivor in that
short amount of time so we’re hoping to make it concise. Wondering if there are any other folks who work on campuses that have made similar videos?
Anything that you think would be relevant helps, we’re trying to put this together in the next week or so. Thanks everyone!
