We produced these “I EVOC” (say I evoke) videos about two years ago to help students know what to expect when they utilized campus or community victim services.  They aren’t quite what you are looking for, but I think are a good example of a short informational video on services available to survivors to reduce the confusion of our decentralized campus.

These videos are part of our first-year online prevention education program, “Tonight,” but are not designed as prevention videos in and of themselves (more as literacy around how to get help and what they can expect).  For our prevention program’s learning objectives (desired outcomes in behavior, attitude, and knowledge), we really needed a bigger dose.

I hope those things are helpful!

Hi all,

My colleagues and I are working on putting together a short (5 minute) video that will be included in new and transfer student orientation.  We are going to try and cover sexual assault 101, consent, and how to support a survivor in that short amount of time so we’re hoping to make it concise.  Wondering if there are any other folks who work on campuses that have made similar videos?

Anything that you think would be relevant helps, we’re trying to put this together in the next week or so.  Thanks everyone!
