Catching our breath after a very successful SAAM, it’s also a time for us to acknowledge and thank all those who come together to make this campaign possible. Whether you planned or participated, shouted or shared, your voice is powerful. A movement of voices united in call to action: Prevent sexual violence! Thank you for being a part of the success of SAAM 2013!

The national Sexual Assault Awareness Month campaign is officially wrapping up. This April was hugely eventful, and it shows in our SAAM 2013 recap. From the SAAM Day of action, to International Anti-Street Harassment Week, and Denim Day highlights, this recap offers a peak at the many successes of SAAM 2013.

This recap of SAAM on Storify helps us to catalog all of the amazing SAAM participation and sharing that happens on social networks: http://storify.com/NSVRC/sexual-assault-awareness-month-2013

From community’s that added teal ribbons to police cars, to Take Back the Night, Clothesline Project and Denim Day events, dedicated individuals brought SAAM to life this April. Thank you!
