We have an opening at the Higher Education Center for a training and technical assistance provider. The person in this position will work on both our violence prevention initiatives and also our alcohol and drug (AOD) prevention efforts, so campus-based experience in both areas is a plus. We’re located in Waltham, MA, outside Boston. Please spread the word!

 

Summary of the position description:

 

Job Opening at the Center: Training and Technical Assistance Associate I 

This position is located in the Higher Education Center for Alcohol, Drug Abuse, and Violence Prevention (the Center), part of the Health and Human Development division of Education Development Center, Inc., Waltham, Massachusetts.

 

The training and technical assistance associate I is a full-time position reporting to the associate Center director. The training and technical assistance associate (1) designs and delivers training and technical assistance to a variety of campus-based audiences via telephone, e-mail, in-person, and through Web-based methods on alcohol and other drug abuse and violence (AODV) prevention; (2) assists in creating and delivering content for online trainings, Webinars, Training Institutes, special meetings, and conference presentations; (3) develops Web site content and contributes to other writing projects; and (4) supports all senior staff in researching and developing content for presentations and other project-related tasks.
