We sponsor an annual sexual assault investigation training for all law
enforcement in our area.  This year Claire Harwell, J.D.
()was
 the trainer and I would highly recommend her.
She was a university police officer and has prosecuted sexual assaults so
has a wealth of experience and knowledge.  She really gets cross-over,
serial offending and how to investigate these crimes.  

She recommended the International Association of Chiefs of Police Sexual
Assault Guidelines and Investigative Strategies.

Good Afternoon~

We are in the process of developing our Sexual Assault Response Team on
campus.  Our campus police contacted us today to request a training for the
officers.  They struggle with interviewing and handling the survivors'
questions and emotions.  What training tools/programs have others used?  Any
suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
