I have found the manual created by the National Center for Women and
Policing for investigating acquaintance sexual assault to be quite useful.
You can find it at http://www.womenandpolicing.org/publications.asp
I also understand that the International Association of Chiefs of Police
is developing a guide for responding to sexual assault. They have a
violence against women section of their website, with contact information
at

Subject: Responder training for Campus Police
Good Afternoon~
We are in the process of developing our Sexual Assault Response Team on
campus. Our campus police contacted us today to request a training for
the officers. They struggle with interviewing and handling the survivors'
questions and emotions. What training tools/programs have others used?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
