My town in South Jersey got hit pretty hard by a tornado and I’m simultaneously listening to “Inlets,” various chainsaws and wood chippers, and an amazingly persistent cricket.
A while back when I was living in Pensacola, my roof was slightly damaged during Hurricane Ivan. I was listening to Sonic Youth’s “Goodbye 20th Century” and their version of Maciunas’ “Piano Piece #13” came on as the workers were hammering nails into my roof.
