Yeah, gutted.  My favourite '60's icon. 

Hearing Perfect Lives for the 1st time altered what I thought experimental music could be. 
Lovely performance by him at HCMF a few years ago as well, effortlessly cool.

Like lots of people no doubt, I'll be digging out those tunes later and raising a glass of thanks.
