Silencers in the USA might like to know that there will be no less than five radio programmes on the man next week
They are all on radio 3, and are on Saturday at 12.15 and 22.30, on Sunday at 19.45, on Tuesday at 23.00 and
on Thursday at 23.00.
Perhaps not a lot will be new for enthusiasts, but still it's encouraging. I enjoyed Gavin Bryars' recent programme
but thought it would have been a good oportunity to remind listeners that Cage wrote some enjoyable music.
Yours quietly, if not silently
Richard Leigh
