In her book John Cage: Visual Art to Sober and Quiet the Mind, Kathan Brown
opens her text with the quote on page 45, and cites Composition in Retrospect
from John Cage Etchings 1978-1982, Crown Point Press, SF, CA, 1982, page 43.
