Re Rob Haskins' query. There's something on p39 of Peter Dickinson's  "Cage Talk" just so happens that I was reading this yesterday - not that I have a good memory!

Subject: [silence] Cage on strips

Hi there, I was wondering if there is any (old and/or recent) strip-work
regarding John Cage. Does anybody know anything about its existence?
Artworks or available publications?

Thanks in advance for your help, cheers

Sorry, I was referring to comic-strips Louie. Is there any drawing about
John Cage? Some comic-strip like story I mean... whether old or recent
ones. Thank you.

Hi there, sorry for the misleading email I previously sent to the list.
I would like to know if there are any drawings, comic-strip stories
featuring John Cage, whether old or recent ones. If so, were they
published? Any of them available somewhere? Thank you in advance, cheers

I think that David Morice's Poetry Comics series included some of Cage's texts,
but these usually do not present the author as a character, which is what it
sounds like you're looking for.

Subject: [silence] anecdote on Souvenir

Hello,
Does anyone on the List remember the circumstances leading to the organ
piece Souvenir? I seem to remember that Gerd Zacher had been performing
Dream (on organ) a lot, and that when Souvenir was commissioned, a request
was made for a piece like Dream. I've looked in all the usual places
(Conversing with Cage, Musicage, John Cage: Writer, program notes for
pieces) and can't find this.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Thanks,
Rob
