I really appreciate this conversation and the prompt to learn how my institution would handle such a situation. Thank you for bringing it to my attention. 

Our state coalition offers civil legal assistance for situations like this, it might be worth exploring if support like this exists at your state sexual violence coalition.  If you need help, please let me know; I'm happy to help explore what resources may be available near you.
