Hi Sara,
We regularly assist campus with community-level healing when incidents indirectly impact groups, departments, etc.
We use a variety of methods healing circles (dialogue-based), arts therapies, movement-based forms of healing (yoga, TRE, etc.), and more. We developed these spaces based on the self-reported concerns from the community affected. In addition, we center the survivor and their perspectives and hopes as we craft and implement. The survivor can essentially veto or approve and inform the strategy of the healing activity.
We would be happy to chat more if it's helpful.
Sending my best,
Mari

Hi All,
We have a large closed community on campus that is being investigated for violations of our policy. The Chancellor has tasked me with “the healing of the community” after the initial investigation is completed. My idea is to engage a restorative justice model (this would of course not be used to address incidents of sexual misconduct, relationship violence, and stalking). He has also made clear that we can bring in a facilitator to help with this effort. If anyone has any resources and or facilitator suggestions, please send them my way. Best, Sara
