Hello Arika, Katie, and colleagues,

Over the past year, my organization has been researching campus prevention efforts based on data from a comprehensive assessment tool we developed and launched last year. I've attached a few slides that have some information on our tool as well as data on several of the questions you posed. For example, we've found that over a third of schools in our sample provide less than 10 hours of required training for peer educators.

If you're interested in learning more about what we're finding in our research, I recently did a webinar that shared additional insights from this assessment as well as data from our Climate Survey that is currently being used by over 70 campuses. The webinar recording and slides from the webinar can be found in the following links:

On the webinar, we also mentioned the availability of two free resources to help institutions deploy campus climate surveys, and review their approaches to both Clery Act and Title IX mandates. Both are included below.

We will soon be releasing a new publication that draws on our research and data to provide a "best practice framework" for sexual assault prevention. I'm happy to share with the list as soon as it's available.

Hope this is helpful. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Best,
Rob

Subject: Feedback?

Hello All,

I’m on a new programming committee related to campus SV and I’m interested in sharing what other campuses are doing related to any of the areas below… If it would be easier to talk over the phone, I would be happy to do so at 828-227-7469.

Do you have a program calendar that you all use that drives your year. So for example, is there anything specific that you do for trainings, programming, social media/marketing at orientation  and then continue to build on this message each month?

Do you have specific target outreach with student groups, such as RAs, athletes, Greek Life, etc. ?

Do you partner with others for programs/training? If so, who?

Do you have any peer educators trained?

Thank you for your feedback!
