Hello!

If you haven’t made up your mind yet about attending #RespectCon2015: Understanding Sexual Violence Through A Social Justice Lens, maybe this will help convince you! Attached to this email are both the RespectCon Conference schedule for April 10th and the Pre-Conference Summit schedule for April 9th (professionals only, not open to students). Both will be hosted in the Dobbs University Center (DUC) at Emory University in Atlanta, GA.

The schedules have a brief description of each session. So read them over, realize how AMAZING they all look, and then go to respectcon15.eventbrite.com and register! Both breakfast and lunch are included as part of registration, which makes the $30-40 registration fee all the more cost-effective. We have some fascinating roundtables and presentations lined up for this year, thanks completely to the amazing submissions we had. We’ve posted Presenter bios finally, so you can see all the fabulous people you’ll get to network with at RespectCon (in case you needed another reason to attend).

These documents are also on our website, bitly.com/respectcon15, where you can always find the most recent updates about the conference.

We hope to see many of you there!

#RespectCon2015 is a low-cost one-day conference focusing particularly on understanding sexual violence through a social justice lens. The purpose is understanding the connections between sexual violence and other forms of oppression, thereby connecting this work to broader structural inequities and integrating our work into social justice movements. Our aim is to create a unique environment for participants to share information and exchange ideas on preventing sexual violence and creating more survivor-supportive and socially just institutions of higher education.
