I would be interested in knowing the answer to this as well and any additional resources available for understanding how to best serve this population for advocacy and response.

Subject:Survivor with developmental disability

I’m working with a survivor who has a developmental disability, and I’m wondering if anyone has experience in this area. The student initially disclosed to a faculty member, and thus has triggered our Title IX process. I’m not sure if the student needs any additional support in a Title IX investigation. If any of you have experience with this, can you email me back and let me know what to be aware of and what to request (if anything)? The student is currently registered with our university disability services office.

Thanks!
