SAPC folks:

I wanted to draw your attention to a recent student opinion piece a UW-Madison student newspaper (The Badger Herald chose to run yesterday, entitled “’Rape Culture’ Does Not Exist.”  The article and student/campus responses to it have received national attention.  The man who wrote it also founded the UW-Confessions facebook page.

I have been working closely with campus leadership and student leaders of the student organization I co-advise (PAVE) as they crafted their responses.  For as much as the initial article has received attention, I think it is also important to point out both the institutional response as well as a response from students.
