Hi Gillian,
We take on both proactive and reactive approaches. We provide resources on our website for faculty and staff and advertise broadly through three potential tiers of involvement. 1) here's info for your syllabus/what you can say about triggering material
2) here are some peer education options 3) we can provide guest lectures on the following topics tailored to your students as professionals.
We list all three on our website and in broad communication. We also have our student interns talk to folks in their departments about what we could offer. This year, we also reached out proactively to faculty on an individual and departmental level to
let them know what we offer, particularly based on student recommendation. Like Michelle mentioned, when we take the more personal approach, we tie it back into the subject matter. This has had great success in increasing both faculty including information
about support/resources and opportunities for peer and professional guest lectures.
My best,
LB

I worked on this with a former student, Chris Diggs (now a professional on this listserv!), at my previous institution. She had interned at Rutgers and we learned from some of their ideas:
Please feel free to let me know if you have additional questions!

I am wondering if you have implemented a “don’t cancel that class” program at your institution. If so, how did you go about doing that? I welcome any advice or suggestions you can share.
