Hello All,

I am wondering what terms your universities use during the Title IX and Student Conduct process to describe the person bringing forward the complaint and the person responding to a complaint.  Currently our university uses the terms “complainant” and “respondent.”  We have considered using “reporting party” and “responding party.”  Please let me know if you have any guidance or recommendations for us.

Thanks!
