Dear Colleagues:
Zach Tekampe from Johnson & Wales (Denver campus) is part of a Criminal Justice Association.  I offered to post his query below.  Please answer him DIRECTLY, not to the list, as he isn't a subscriber.  Colorado members, perhaps you could provide some significant advice to his group.
Thanks,
Claire

Subject: Johnson & Wales University - Criminal Justice Association

Hello,

My name is Zach Tekampe and I am a Criminal Justice student at Johnson & Wales University, Denver Campus. I am also a part of the Criminal Justice Association, which is a student run group that’s mission is to get out students involved on campus and in the community through volunteering and hosting campus events that educate and interest the Johnson & Wales community about the Criminal Justice system. As part of our mission, we also partner with other campus departments when hosting events and providing passive/active programming to students, faculty and staff.

With that in mind, we are an organization that is very active in the Denver community. It is my understanding that there is a list of college campuses that have services for victims of sexual assault. I was wondering what those services look like and how they are delivered to the victim. As part of the Criminal Justice Association, we are interested in becoming a resource on campus to victims. We will not be therapists, but rather a resource that can provide the victim with other resources to get help.

If there are any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Thank you,

Zachary Tekampe
