I would love to hear about what others are doing with required classes on their campus as well.  Thank you!

Subject: Required class for first year college students?

I’m seeking information about universities that have some kind of required class (“College 101” or a class focused on health/safety/life skills) for first year students. If your university has such a class (or even one that’s not required), could you email me off list to let me know? If you have access to a syllabus, you will get bonus points.

Many thanks,

-bob
