Dear Sexual Assault Program Coordinators,
       We are hoping you can help at a critical time for our Sexual Assault Response Team. A small group of students and I have presented a proposal to our Dean of Students, with long overdue revisions to our Sexual Assault Policy. We have also recommended that she hire a full time Coordinator for our Sexual Assault Response Team.  We were very encouraged by her initial response and she is certainly considering this, but she feels constrained  by budget limitations. She hoped we could ask other schools how they fund such a position.
    If you could take a minute and answer these short questions, it would be very helpful to us.    *Where is it housed ( physically and administratively)   In other words, is the position part of a Women's Center? Counseling Center? Other?____________ 
    *What are the qualifications of this staff person?____________
 
    *What are the ( main) responsibilities? _____________________________

  *What is the Coordinator's role when he/she receives cases of sexual assault____________________________________________________

       If you have any suggestions about how to get these goals accomplished, how to get the administration to respond, we would be so grateful.
            The students in our Sexual Assault Response Unit are meeting with the Dean next Wednesday, and they are going forward optimistically! Your help may be crucial in getting this position.
