As most of you know, October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month.  This year, we’ve created two new purple bumper stickers for the month – one says “Stop Blaming the Victim” and the other says “Another Man Against Men’s Violence Against Women.”  The “Stop Blaming the Victim” one has victim-blaming phrases in the background, saying things like “Why doesn’t she just leave,” “She has low self-esteem” and “I provoke him.”  See the designs at http://www.voicesofmen.org/store.html.  My thanks to friends, colleagues and my Advisory Board for help with the design and content. 

 

The stickers are $1 each, but the first 100 people who write to my wonderful wife Lucinda (NOT me) will receive two stickers for free.  We will even pay the postage!  You can choose one of each, two of one, or even a sexual violence bumper sticker with a domestic violence one.  Any more than two, you’ll need to pay – we take credit card, PayPal, checks etc.  Lucinda’s email is and she’s CCd on this email.
