Opening at University of California, Irvine:

VIOLENCE PREVENTION COORDINATOR

Summary:
The Violence Prevention Coordinator at UC Irvine works in the Campus Assault 
Resources and Education (CARE) office to develop and execute prevention 
programs related to sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence and 
stalking.   The incumbent has direct responsibility for delivery of incoming 
student programs and ongoing campus prevention programs, including 
collaborations with the UCI Police Department and Student Conduct Office. The 
VPC has primary responsibility for selecting, training and supervising the 
men's peer education program and field study interns, serves as a resource 
for the campus community and develops violence prevention information for 
general distribution to the campus. Among other duties, the VPC serves on 
campus committees, assesses programmatic needs of the campus and works 
collaboratively to ensure success of educational programming.
