The Network Against Sexual and Domestic Abuse in Bozeman, MT is seeking a
Development Coordinator. This person will be responsible for planning,
implementing, and managing all aspects of the organization's fundraising and
marketing programs, including major donor cultivation/solicitation and
special events. 3-5 years of proven fundraising experience required;
knowledge of the local community preferred.

JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB TITLE: Development Coordinator
PAY SCALE: Level 4
SALARY RANGE: $31,221 - 37,440
WORK STATUS: Full Time / Exempt
SUPERVISOR: Executive Director
Fund Development:
. Maintain and oversee approved fundraisers, including organizing staff,
volunteer, and board member participation, securing arrangements with
cooperating parties, seeking necessary donations/sponsors, overseeing
sales/donations, documenting income.
. Develop additional fundraising strategies, in relation to both current and
possible future fundraising events/projects.
. Ensure proper recognition of donors.
. Share grant, fundraising, and budget commitments and considerations with
staff and Board of Directors.
. Maintain a database of all donors, types, and dates (GiftWorks).
. Assist with grant writing as requested by Executive Director.
. Assist with Strategic Planning.
. Assist with Development Planning.
Donations:
. Coordinate all donations with community members including meetings for
donation pickups.
Maintain donor database (GiftWorks):
. Submit monthly donor report to Executive Director.
. Organize and maintain donor recognition program.
. Create thank you letters to donors monthly to be signed by the Executive
Director.
Finance:
. Follow purchase order procedures.
. Assist Executive Director with quarterly and year-end reports for
grantors.
. Assist Executive Director with annual budget.
. Create and distribute annual report.
Community Advocacy:
. Assist and provide educational programming as needed/directed.
. Create quarterly newsletter for organization.
Marketing:
. Maintain effective local advertising campaign for the Network and its
programs.
. Create and develop Network brochures.
. Lead outreach program for community.
. Participate in radio and newspaper interviews promoting fundraising
efforts as approved by the Executive Director.
Website:
. Update and maintain website.
Direct Service:
. Back-up staff, as needed/directed.
Other:
. Attend agency staff meetings.
. Attend Board meetings as requested by Executive Director.
. Other duties as requested by Executive Director.
QUALIFICATIONS:
. Undergraduate degree
. 3-5 years of fundraising experience, preferably in a nonprofit setting.
. Grant writing experience.
. Experience working in deadline-driven environments.
. Ability to work well in a team environment.
. Ability to handle multiple concurrent assignments and meet deadlines.
. Experience developing an annual fundraising plan.
. Experience developing project and organization-wide budgets.
. Excellent written and oral communication skills
. Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
. Knowledge of basic fundraising techniques and strategies.
. Core computer skills in word processing, data base management,
spreadsheets and electronic communications (such as email, creating
distribution lists, participating in listservs, generating e-newsletters,
etc.).
TRAINING: Must attend domestic violence and sexual assault training programs
RESPONSIBLE TO: Executive Director
