Solutions Through Film Black History Month Film Festival

Men Can Stop Rape and the Men of Strength (MOST) Club are pleased to announce 
its 7th Annual Black History Month Film Festival - SOLUTIONS THROUGH FILM - 
taking place on Saturday, February 7th at the AFI Silver Theatre from 12-8pm.

Centering on the theme, "Hearing and Supporting Young Women of Color," the 
festival will showcase three documentaries: THE SOULS OF BLACK GIRLS 
(12-2pm), the award-winning THE BOYS OF BARAKA (2:30-4:45pm), and the New 
York Times Critics' Pick VERY YOUNG GIRLS (6-8pm).

Hosted by the Men of Strength Club, a male teen violence prevention program 
sited in every Washington, DC public high school, SOLUTIONS THROUGH FILM uses 
eye-opening films and dynamic workshop discussions to open communication 
across barriers in gender, age, and race. MOST Club is a program of Men Can 
Stop Rape, a nonprofit that works worldwide in engaging young men to end 
violence against women.
