Reporting to the Senior Director for Academic Support and Planning for
Student Affairs, the Director oversees all fiscal, personnel, and
programmatic operations of the Women's Center, including the development
and implementation of programs and direct services; the creation of
collaborative efforts with all campus organizations and academic units
designed to advance the status of women; and the advocacy of and
participation in institutional gender equity efforts. 
We are looking for someone who will share the Institute's commitment to
the Women's Center. Since 1993, the Women's Center has provided
leadership in addressing both the diverse needs and interests of
individual women and institutional efforts on gender equity. The Women's
Center mission is to provide undergraduate and graduate students,
postdoctoral scholars, staff, and faculty - women and men - with
opportunities, programs, and services that address gender issues and
promote success, equity, and safety. The Director plays a critical role
in developing and sustaining an environment conducive to the
professional, intellectual, scientific and personal success for all
women at Caltech.
