Colleagues,

As some of you who are on other lists may already know, I've been invited to
"Guest Host" the DOJ's Office for Victims of Crime web forum on Thursday
July 27th from 2-3 PM Eastern Time. The subject will be "Campus
Victimization And Assistance Services."

All you need to participate is a computer with an internet connection. No
registration is required but you can go ahead and begin posting questions if
you'd like. Just go to http://ovc.ncjrs.org/ovcproviderforum/ for more
information.

If there are any issues you'd like me to address in the forum please let me
know. I'd also appreciate your input on some of the most promising practices
that the field is using to help me focus my answers. If I get the chance I'd
be happy to give your program a plug as an example to others so please let
me know about it. You can reply to me on the list or privately at

Also, please encourage the people that you work with in other offices on
your campus who work with victims, such as student affairs and housing, to
participate in this forum. I think it could be an invaluable resource for
them, and its easy and free.
