voice - Social Activism

Subject: Social Activism

Description: VOICE (Voicing Our Issues and Concerns for Equality) is a student-led organization founded to raise awareness of ongoing social issues in the University of Virginia community and beyond. Our focus is on creating a safe and equitable environment for all students, with a particular emphasis on gender-based violence and its impact on women. Our organization believes in the importance of discussing racial justice and the negative outcomes of sexuality experiences for BIPOC, particularly women.

Our organization is dedicated to providing a voice for those marginalized in discussions of race and gender equity, promoting a more inclusive and equitable approach to these critical issues. Our goal is to empower students to advocate for their rights and to create a campus culture that prioritizes safety, equity, and inclusivity for all.
