Subject: For the Mentors of UVA SOM Guides for Application Success

Description: The primary activity of this club will be facilitating mentoring relationships between UVA SOM students and UVA undergraduates. With each year, the process of applying to medical school becomes more complicated and more competitive. Providing UVA undergraduates with one-on-one mentoring relationships, free of charge, will help spread knowledge from students who were successful in applying to medical school. This will likely improve application outcomes and help to alleviate some of the stress associated with applying. Process of selection of undergraduates will likely be on a first-come first-served basis, with preference given to those who are applying to the upcoming cycle.
