Subject: UVA Surgical Interest Society (SIS)

Description: The Surgical Interest Society is the UVA SOM general surgery interest group. The society exists to introduce and expose medical students to the various surgical fields through our research opportunities, panel discussions, skills clinics, and more.

Our mission is to foster interest in surgical careers while demonstrating to students the potential impact they can have on their future patients through surgery.
