Description: SNAV at UVA is established for the expressed purpose of fostering the personal development of future nurses by encouraging involvement in service, leadership, and nursing professionalism. Moreover, SNAV aims to cultivate its nursing students to become responsible persons who actively participate as leaders in the nursing profession beyond graduation, and helps to facilitate the transition from student nurse to nurse.
