Subject: Email list for the Medical Device and Innovation ThinkTank (SOM)

Description: The Medical Device and Innovation Think Tank (MDITT) is a student led group that aims to empower medical students to initiate and pursue medical innovation. Through meetings, workshops and various other events, students will have opportunities to interact with esteemed faculty and outside speakers who have pursued the development of devices or innovative platforms within their respective fields. In addition, MDITT seeks to encourage student innovation by facilitating collaboration with like-minded peers and providing access to resources (3D printers, BME undergraduate student, design software, etc.), funding, and mentorship. Beyond purely student-fueled innovation, students will also have opportunityes to collaborate and partner with UVA physicians and scientists who are exploring innovative avenues of their own.
