Description: The purpose of Sisterhood Health Coalition (Community Project), is a community-centered initiative dedicated to furthering the knowledge of minority individuals with uteri on topics surrounding reproductive health through a holistic lens. The main goal is to provide comprehensive education and resources that will better the state of both the student body and the local community; furthermore, creating a supportive and open environment that fosters open discussions, knowledge of accessible health resources, and promotes understanding of reproductive rights and options. SHHC proposes to achieve our purpose through forums, lectures, intensive community engagement, and outreach. We seek to address the health challenges faced by minority populations, ultimately leading to improved health outcomes.
