Description: MDEURB is a board of students who each represent their respective ensemble. This board will be a place for exponential opportunity from a chance to have your ensemble represented both within and outside the Music Department to fostering a body of unity within our world of music. Some places of representation include:

• Days on the Lawn
• Small-scale Prospective Student Events
• Arts Events
• Art Museum and Library events
• etc… (Anything else we can find!)

You as the representative will also have access to funds to go toward Ensemble Bonding Events. You will be asked to see that your ensemble holds a bonding event of some kind each semester wether you plan it or delegate the planning to someone else within your respective ensemble.

Similarly, it is not required that you physically represent your ensemble to every audience. The commitment to you is the amount you want to put into it. For example, Days on the Lawn is a lengthy event. We would ask that you do your best to have someone representing your ensemble at each available time. It is understandably challenging for a smaller ensemble to find willing representatives, but by showing others that there are students passionate enough for their ensemble to spend their time representing it we are showing that this ensemble is worth researching! There may be a student in a completely different department unaware of the ensembles existence who would jump at the chance to audition and join.
