Subject: LMSA+ at UVA

Description: The Latinx Medical Student Association Plus (LMSA+) at UVA is an undergraduate chapter of the larger Latino Medical Student Association Organization. We aim to provide Latinx pre-health students with a supportive community, connect them to mentors, and create opportunities for professional growth. Moreover, our organization provides unique cultural experiences that strengthen connections and foster a supportive community. LMSA+ is partnered with the UVA medical school chapter allowing us to not only increase Latinx representation in medicine but also ensure that students are well-equipped to thrive both academically and professionally.
