Description: The Hot Sauce Club at UVA is established for three main purposes:

1. Make hot sauce with a variety of peppers, vinegars, spices, and other ingredients, competing to make a sauce that best combines flavor and heat.
2. Explore the diverse styles of hot sauce developed in distinct regions around the globe with an appreciation of how different peppers contribute to specific tastes.
