Description: Hoos First Look is an annual academic enrichment program in the fall semester for low-income/first-generation, rising juniors in high school. HFL is dedicated to giving prospective students a taste of college life by providing them with resources on the college-application process and financial aid/scholarships, the opportunity to build strong relationships with their cohort and mentors, and the knowledge to achieve academic and personal success, ultimately inciting their interest in UVA.
