Subject: Cancer Center Hematopoiesis and hematological malignancies working group

Description: The goal of this working group is to offer opportunities for academic exchange of ideas and foster cross-department and inter-disciplinary collaborations addressing biological questions about hematopoiesis and pathogenesis studies of hematological malignancies. We plan for monthly meetings, and all PIs with interest in these scientific areas are welcome to participate. We envision presentations by 1-2 PIs, collaborating laboratories and/or guest speakers (core facility directors and/or other individuals the group wishes to invite) at each meeting. Twice yearly we will also plan for joint meetings with clinical colleagues to discuss and/or explore collaborative projects.
