Subject: Hoos First Look

Description: Hoos First Look is a new program at UVA intended to fly in low-income and/or first-generation prospective high school students to UVA. We aim to make students that attend our weekend fly-in program more competitive applicants in the admissions process and show them that getting into a great, public university like ours is attainable. Our program is an all expense paid three-day, two-night retreat to show 20 low-income rising juniors in high school around Grounds and the lifestyle of UVA students.

To apply, students need to fill out a priority application by June 9th with the regular application deadline of September 8th.
