Description: END7 students work together to bring an end to the 7 most common Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs), which blind, disfigure, and incapacitate a sixth of our global population. Including diseases like schistosomiasis (parasitic disease second in economic impact only to malaria), hookworm (causes a 40% reduction in the future wage-earning potential of schoolchildren due to anemia), and elephantiasis (swells limbs to elephantine proportions), all 7 NTDs cost only 50 cents to treat. Help us bring an end to the neglect through fitness-oriented campaigns like an obstacle 7K in the spring and barefoot yoga sessions.
